To make great wine, it takes a community.  We have an extraordinary community here and believe in giving back to help that continue and thrive.  We're proud to work with and support these organizations making an impact in our local community.

Our Community Involvement

Carasmark

Carasmark seeks to inspire hope in the lives of local children and their families by meeting their practical needs.  Carasmark was founded by Shannon Lynch and her husband, Nathan Palkovitz in 2008.  Shannon and Nathan currently reside in Landenberg, PA, with their children Isla, Tessa, Finnian and Everett.  The organization was created in memory of their first child, Avelin Cara, who was lost to stillbirth in April of 2007.  Carasmark projects consist of Backpack Project, Food Project, Book Project and Remembrance Project.

CompAnimals Pet Rescue

CompAnimal's is a local, community-based animal rescue with 20 years of dedication to helping animals in need in our local area.  Known for their matchmaking skills.  CompAnimals completes a careful review of applications before placing any of their pets.  Seeking a successful forever home is the staff's top priority.  CompAnimals is volunteer driven with all donations going directly to helping the animals and their needs.  They turn away no pets and they take chances on animals that have no where else to turn, regardless of age, medical condition, breed or history.

In 2019 Meghan and Billy Kammerer lost their sweet son, Logan Hugh.  To honor Logan's life, each year, Meghan & Billy choose a deserving Avon Grove Charter School senior to receive the Logan Hugh Memorial Scholarship. This senior exemplifies a spirit of service; whether they choose to go into the field of healthcare, education, or something else, they value giving back to their community.
